John Burden - John has extensive knowledge of many of the games we market and he actively plays, Magic the Gathering, World of Warcraft TCG, World of Warcraft Miniatures, Versus, and Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and 4.0 and Warmachine
He is currently in training and is assistant judge for Magic the Gathering.
He is also an official judge for World of Warcraft Miniatures.
John is very knowledgeable in deck building for Magic and can assist with buying and selling of your Magic the Gathering cards.
You can count on John to be very helpful and friendly, so don't hesitate to ask questions!

Aaron Magnino - Aaron also has extensive knowledge of many of our games, coming from a background playing Versus, Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.
Aaron can also assist with deck building and buying and selling of your collections.
Aaron has excellent customer service skills with experience working in retail stores.

Roger Fondren - Is one of our Super Volunteers helping us with Card Sales
He is an Official DCI Level 1 Judge
Roger competes in many out of town tournaments and promotion of the store.
Roger was California States Champion in Magic the Gathering 2009

Richard Lusk - Assists with all aspects of the store including our comic book section.

Michael Lusk - Assists with all aspects of the store.

About Us

Paladin's Game Castle or Paladin Gaming or known to most as just "Paladin" started on April 1st, 2003 in Bakersfield CA
Paladin Started as a dream to bring to the Bakersfield area a full line game store with a place to play. Bakersfield has a population of over 350,000 people just in the city limits and has an excellent potential for further growth in the games industry.

Original partners were Curtis Lusk, Shaen Lusk and Jeremy Miller. The store opened amidst the boom of Heroclix and was very successful.

Within a couple of years Shaen decided to move on to other interests. Within the next year Curtis decided to move into and focus on the single card and single miniature sales online. Jeremy took over operation of the physical store location in what had been renamed to Paladin Games & Hobbies.

The online sales of single cards, miniatures and other non-sealed game product, went out the roof and became quite successful. Other lines of products were added over the next couple of years expanding into trading cards, sports cards, supplies and other collectable items.

In addition Paladin Gaming branched into tournament sponsorships and became a games and hobby supporter and promoter in the local area with our Team Paladin connection, and our future plans to sponsor some type of annual games day here in Bakersfield. (Still in planning)

Recent developments have seen the closing of the physical store Paladin Games and Hobbies. Jeremy decided to take his business online and into other lucrative product areas.

We have established a new store brick and mortar store called Paladins Game Castle to once again do our part to further the development of the hobby games industry in the local area.

As our business continues to expand, we have many other plans in the works to increase the quantity of hobby games and gamers in our area.

We have recently added Comics and Toys to our product lines. In addition we have begun to support and supply Warhammer 40K and lines.
